In March of 2005 Sandberg Phoenix & von Gontard P.C. opened the doors of the new Sandberg Phoenix Courtroom. Located in our St. Louis office, this newly constructed mock courtroom incorporates the most sophisticated computer and media technologies available for modern courts today. The Sandberg Phoenix Courtroom is the only one of its kind in the area and helps keep us one step ahead of the other firms in providing superior legal representation.
The Sandberg Phoenix Courtroom and adjoining jury room are designed for specialized legal training to meet the needs of young attorneys as they hone their litigation skills, for seasoned litigators to become more proficient with technology and for our clients to prepare for their courtroom experience.
All of the elements are here from the judge's bench and witness stand to the jury box and counsel tables. The Sandberg Phoenix Courtroom occupies approximately 1,300 square feet. Its wireless technology includes computers and monitors, DVDs, cameras, Internet access, audio speakers and microphones, plasma screens and video cameras. Specialized lighting was installed to optimize camera and playback work.
There are many elements that go into a successful trial. The most important is preparation. The Sandberg Phoenix Courtroom gives our attorneys a realistic environment to first practice their arguments and cross-examinations, and then go back and review their performance. Mock juries can also be brought in to view a trial or testimony.
